OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan has said while referring to the MQM public meeting in the City, he said every party had the right to hold public meeting anywhere in the country. He said the MQM was known as a terrorist organisation known for bori band dead bodies and extortion. He asked MQM chief Altaf Hussain to explain to the nation what prevented him from returning to the country although his party had been in power in the centre and in Sindh and Karachi for the last many years. He said that revolution could not be brought about through remote control or telephonic address from London. He said that if the masses wanted a change, justice and rule of law, they should exercise their right to vote judiciously. If they voted for plunderers and the corrupt again, they could not expect any healthy change, he said. He said the Presidential Reference on Bhutto case was only a political stunt aimed at gaining time. Addressing the Friday congregation at Mansoora mosque, he said those seeking review of the Bhutto case had not implemented a single decision of the apex court including on the NRO. On the other hand, conspiracies were hatched against the SC and propaganda against judges was still going on. If the rulers have confidence in the SC, they should first implement its decisions, he said, and remarked that those espousing the rule of law were the biggest law breakers. Munawar Hasan said that the rulers were a gang of criminals which was plundering the national resources with both hands. People were being killed in drone attacks and terrorist activities while the poor were committing suicides out of poverty.
