OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - An accountability court on Friday extended physical remand of former Director Haj Rao Shakeel Ahmad for 14 days on plea of the NAB Punjab for continuing investigation against him. On Friday, NAB Punjab produced the accused Rao Shakeel before the court to seek the remand to grill the Director Haj further and as per claims of the NAB officials concerned he had made assets beyond his legal income sources. The court on the plea of the NAB Punjab granted the extension of the remand and directed it to produce the accused again on April 29. According to details, Rao Shakeel had been found the owner of a textile mill and large property located at Ferozpur Road, and as per preliminary report of the NAB, the Director Haj had made all these assets beyond his legal and declared sources of income.
