LAHORE (PR) - Prof MA Soofi former dean, Institute of Public Health, Government of Punjab has welcomed the decision of Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab to establish Urology and Liver Transplant Centre at the old area of regular tenants of begum Col Illahi Bux 34-Lawrence Road, Lahore, Prof M. A. Soofi alongwith other team members Dr Zeenat Hussain, Dr Akram Riaz and Dr BA Yazdanie of Col Illahi Bux had given the technical and medical aid to the people for the last 40 years as the mission of Col. Illahi Bux even he urged upon the government that this land may be~ome a part of KEMIJ and named as Quaid-e-Azam Medical University but this decision of CM is encouraging and Dr. Soofi requested that the funds may immediately be provided to build up this pr~ct which is need of the people. Dr. Soofi prayed for success of this project and he again ask that this project may be attached with KEMU as Col. Illahi Bux was first Principal of this great Insitution and he alongwith his team has treated Quaid-e-Azam at Ziarat and accompanied him in air to Karachi.
