KARACHI - Anti Terrorism Court has postponed the hearing of Shahzeb murder case till Tuesday (today).
Due to long absence of Muntazir Mehdi state lawyer, Abdul Rauf has been appointed as new prosecutor in the case. He is the fourth lawyer from the government who has taken charge of the case during the proceedings. Earlier he had also represented the government side in the case.
During preceding the new lawyer Abdul Rauf requested the court of some time to review the previous proceedings of the case.
On the other hand the relatives of main accused Shahrukh Jatoi had submitted a application in Sindh High Court in which they took the plea that he is a minor but the court is declaring him adult. The applicant asked the court to seek report from the medical board in this regard. SHC adjourned the hearing till April 22.
