QUETTA - A policeman was wound on Monday when the Panjgour Election Commission office was attacked with a hand grenade

According to police, unidentified armed men hurled a hand grenade at the Election Commission office, located in the district council hall, Panjgour.

The hand grenade landed inside the boundary of the office and exploded with a big blast. Resultantly, the policeman who was deployed for security sustained injuries.

Police and other law-enforcement agencies rushed to the site after the incident and cordoned off the area.

The injured policeman was shifted to hospital. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
