MANDI BAHAUDDIN - Jamaat-e-Islami candidate for NA-109 Safdar Bosal Advocate has said his party would give surprise in the upcoming election by winning majority seats in Mandi Bahauddin district.

Talking to media here Monday, he said the JI had fielded its candidates in each NA and provincial constituency. He said Farooq Sahi will contest election from NA-108 while he himself is candidate from NA-109. Isan Sahi will contest election for PP-116 seat; Ijaz Shah is candidate from PP-117; Imtiaz from PP-118, Ijaz Bosal for PP-119 and Tassawwar Ranjha will contest election from PP-120. All candidates are educated, honest and imbibed with spirit of public service, he said.

It is for the first time that the JI is contesting election on all National and Provincial seats in the district.

Talking about his rival candidates, he said that due to their bad performance in the past they have lost their popularity and support among the voters. The PPP and PML-N workers have developed differences over distribution of tickets and most of them were pledging their support to the JI.

He said he was confident this time the JI would not only give tough time to its rival parties but also grab all district seats. On a question, he said the PTI was not politically strong enough as yet to achieve any encouraging result for it.
