N calls for replacement of governors

QUETTA - PML-N leader Mushahid Ullah Khan has called for the replacement of all governors, saying that their appointments were made on political basis and they can interfere in the upcoming polls.
Talking to the media in Quetta, he demanded of the Election Commission (EC) to change governors. “Results of 2008 elections in Karachi were altered in the Governor’s House. That’s why changing of governors is inevitable.”
On Balochistan situation, he said that missing persons issue should be resolved immediately.
“The ill-conceived policies of the former government have given rise to the prevailing situation in Balochistan. PML-N has never supported military operation in the province. Neither we ordered a military operation during our tenure nor will we allow anyone for carrying out an operation here. Balochistan is the heart of Pakistan and it will be our first priority to solve its issues.”
He said that security be provided to leaders of all political parties until elections.
He said that we had agreed to seat-to-seat adjustment with Balochistan National Party (BNP) across the province. “Our Party has given the National Assembly Quetta seat (NA-259) to Pashtoon Khowa Milli Awami Party Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai.”
He reiterated that PML-N has full confidence in the ECP and his party will emerge victorious in coming polls with overwhelming majority.
The care taker interior minister has no links with the PML-N and nor the party would like partiality from any care taker functionary, he added.
