LAHORE – A 28-year-old man ended his life by shooting himself in the temple to get rid of prolonged illness in the Iqbal Town area on Monday, police said.  The family told the police that Ahmer Zubair, a resident of the Iqbal Town (Asif Block) had been suffering from a disease since long. The family also said that the deceased had lost his mental balance.  On the day of incident, Ahmer locked himself inside his room and shot himself in the temple with the pistol of his father. The gunfire alerted the family. Ahmer was found lying dead in a pool of blood after his family members broke open the door to gain access into the room. The police handed over the body to the family after fulfilling legal formalities.
