Voters to get foolproof security: Balochistan CM

QUETTA - Voters would be given complete security on the polling day, Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Barozai said on Monday, exhorting the masses to come forward and use their franchise right without any fear.
Interacting with a group of reporters after a meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Balochistan chief Maulana Muhammad Khan Sheerani, the chief minister observed that provision of security to voters and their life and property was the foremost responsibility of the government that would be fulfilled at any cost. He said he had also met with BNP-M leader Sardar Akhter Mengal who was willing to drop his decision of boycotting elections. To a query, Barozai said he was in contact with Baloch leaders sitting abroad.
About formation of caretaker cabinet, he said he would go it alone for the time being to carry out governmental affairs unlike the former government which had 60 ministers that had burdened the stated kitty. The chief minister also told the media he had discussed the law and order situation with Maulana Sheerani and he felt that he was satisfied with him.
