MANDI BAHAUDDIN - Justice Farukh Irfan Khan paid a visit to District Jail here and inspected food, barracks, hospital, security arrangements and death cells.
District and Sessions Judge Sohail Ikraam, Senior Civil Judge Tariq Saleem, Superintendent Jail and other officers accompanied him. Viewing the boundary wall and prisoners’ barracks and shed of the jail in poor condition, he inaugurated repair work with announcement of Rs30 million grant. On his arrival, Superintendent Jail Chaudhry Naveed Ashraf briefed the justice about the jail and prisoners’ affairs and problems with regard to security.
