Foul play has become PML-N’s habit: PTI

LAHORE: Alleging the ruling party for doing pre-poll rigging in Cantonment Boards local bodies’ polls to be held on April 25, Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed has demanded of the Election Commission to take notice of the matter.
He made this allegation and demand while addressing a press conference at Opposition Chambers on Wednesday. He alleged that foul play has become a habit of the PML-N and they have started pre-poll rigging actions ahead of Cantonment Board local elections and that was why he demanded of the Election Commission to take notice of the serious issue.
Mehmood while claiming that there were 19 lac matric ton wheat stocks available in Punjab alleged that finance minister, Ishaq Dar permitted the private sector to import 7 lac matric ton wheat for gaining personal interests. Mehmood said that he along with colleagues on opposition benches would raise the issue in next session of Punjab Assembly.–Staff Reporter
