BUFFALOS: The LHC issued notice to the Punjab government in a petition challenging vaccination injected to buffalos for maximum milk.

Asif Cheema, a local resident, had filed the petition saying that injections of the said vaccination were openly being sold out with the connivance of the officials of health department. He said the milk by injections to the buffalos was causing serious health issues and indulging people in various incurable diseases like cancer.

The use of injection for milking was also damaging the health of buffalos but the authorities concerned instead of taking any action were minting money over the business of illegal injections. After hearing the initial arguments, Justice Ayesha A Malik of the LHC issued notice to Punjab government and sought reply by May 8.
