SAHIWAL - DCO Zulfiqar Ahmad Ghuman has said that philanthropists should come forward for the welfare of humanity and to support downtrodden people of the society.
He was addressing Ramazan gift packs distribution ceremony here the other day.  The ceremony was organised by the Rah-e-Haq Foundation at TB hospital the other day.  Foundation Chairman Mian Babar Sagheer, Dr Mujtaba Jamal, Wasif Shahid and Haider Saleemi were also present on the occasion.
The DCO further said that services to ailing humanity was the collectively responsibility of all factions of society and it was duty of philanthropists that they should include people of low income strata in their delights.
He further said that on the day of abode, fulfilment of rights of masses would play a vital role, comparative to the rights of Almighty Allah, so we should provide sympathies to the poor masses.  He explained that because of limited resources, the government could not help each person.
 so it was obligatory upon philanthropists and non-political NGOs to consoul downtrodden of society.
Later, the DCO distributed Ramazan gift pack among 200 male and female.
