KARACHI - KMC Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed said that we got Pakistan by the great sacrifices of the Muslims of the sub-continent and now it was our duty to not only take part in its development and progress but also make it so stronger and invincible.He expressed these views while talking to media representatives after the flag hoisting ceremony on Independence Day held by Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. He said the creation of Pakistan was truly a miracle and the Pakistani nation would always owe to its great thinkers and leaders who promoted the two nation theory and the concept of Muslim world. August 14 was the most important day in our national history as our country came into being on this day, he added.He appealed to the citizens of Karachi to forget their differences and become one Pakistani nation and play their role in further strengthening the unity and harmony among the future generation. Earlier, the Administrator Karachi paid a visit to the mausoleum of founder of the country Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to pay homage to the great leader. He was accompanied by the Metropolitan Commissioner Matanat Ali Khian and other seniorofficers and heads of departments of KMC. Muhammad Hussain Syed laid the floral wreath on the Mazar-e-Quaid.
