LAHORE – Punjab University College of Pharmacy Associate Professor Dr Nadeem Irfan Bukhari has been appointed visiting professor at DeMontfort University School of Pharmacy, Leicester, United Kingdom, from September 1, 2012, to August 31, 2015.
Dr Bukhari was also invited to the University College London School of Pharmacy for delivering lectures entitled ‘Why is Statistics Needed in Pharmacy?’ and ‘Statistics in Drug Development Using Quality by Design (QbD)’.
These lectures were delivered to the postgraduate pharmacy students for QP course during a two-hour session via Skype. University College London Senior Lecturer Pharmaceutics Dr Gray Parkinson, School of Pharmacy and Assessors of the Royal Society of Chemistry Chairperson Alex Hall, and MPharm students also participated in the lectures. Dr Bukhari has also been invited to deliver a lecture entitled ‘Formulation and Processing’ in November.
Meanwhile, the Punjab University would remain closed from Monday, August 20, to Wednesday, August 22, on account of Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, a spokesperson of the university said on Wednesday.
