Peace in S Asian linked to freedom


SIALKOT – The Kashmir people residing in Sialkot region observed the independence day of India as black day and protested against the rising atrocities of the occupant army in the Indian Held Kashmir.  The Kashmiri people wore the black arm bandages and expressed complete solidarity with the oppressed people. Addressing different meetings, Kashmiri leaders including Dr Zahid Ghani Dar said the sacrifices of thousands of the Kashmiris would become fruitful, as the sun of freedom will rise soon. They said that the peace could never be promoted in South Asia without solving the burning issue of Kashmir.  They termed Kashmir a key to peace. They urged the Pakistan government to adopt a solid policy regarding the Kashmir dispute with India. He strongly criticised the imposition of curfew in Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, terming it a large scale violation of human rights by the Indian Army.
