PENNSYLVANIA  - The US singing star made the announcement on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and it will be the fourth time she has performed on the show. Neither Taylor nor a news release gave details about what she plans to perform, but new music is likely as the singer prepares to release an album. She has a livestream scheduled for August 18, when details are expected to be announced.
The pop star has an always-memorable relationship with the show, from arriving in a princess carriage to troubles with Kanye West and an on-air hug from Beyonce. Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande and Maroon 5 also will perform on the August 24 MTV broadcast from Los Angeles.
