Merit is very important because it brings self motivated, competent, uncorrupt characters and impassioned peoples who are sincere with their jobs and want to run the institution and such peoples never misuse their authority and have the ability to see beyound the horizon.
On the contrary peoples who are recruited by the institutions sidelining merit and on the basis of political affiliations and recommendations then corrupt, inept, ignorant, illiterate and slugish peoples run over the institutions, its image, dignity and honour.
