Protest as teenager goes missing

FAISALABAD-Irate at the police failure to recover a 13-year-old kidnapped boy, hundreds of citizens blocked Madni Chowk here to protest against the rising incidents of child kidnappings.
The protesters claimed that 13-year-old Waleed was allegedly kidnapped from outside his house the other night.
They said that the teenager was asleep outside his house when he mysteriously went missing. The family alleged that they approached the police after hectic search for the boy but the police showed traditional dillydallying.
The protesters burnt tyres and chanted anti-police slogans and kept the road blocked for all vehicular traffic.
The family of the missing boy complained that the police are not cooperating with them.
They demanded Punjab Chief minister Shehbaz Sharif to take notice of the police inefficiency and order immediate recovery of the boy.
