LAHORE - The district administration Wednesday imposed Section 144 until August 25 to counter sale of sacrificial animals in open areas.
Deputy Commissioner Anwarul Haq directed the officials concerned to implement the section strictly.
DC, who has the additional charge of Lahore Waste management Authority chairman, said 299 cleanliness camps have been set up across the city for Eidul Azha cleanliness plan.
Al-Bayrak will set up 134, OzPak 140 and LWMC 25 camps and bags will be distributed from these camps.
Separately, gypsy’s families are being shifted from bank of Ravi in the wake of upcoming flood.
AC along with officers of revenue zone, irrigation department, Rescue 1122 visited the River Ravi. AC Shalimar visited the Talwara village and inquired the process of placing the wall of stone to prevent the population from flooding.
Also the district government decided that one-dish policy to be implemented and DC issued directives for the purpose.
