I have come to the conclusion that KESC is doing its best to end loadshedding in Karachi. In many areas where electricity theft is zero and people pay their bills at time loadshedding has finished. From the last two years, 90 percent load shedding is done on the scheduled time. Now the step which KESC has taken and common man will support them is that they are disconnecting supplies to powerful ministers of Sindh. Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Soomro who is a minister of law but does not pay his bills on time was furious after disconnection of electricity supply to his official residence. Power supply was also disconnected to the farm house of Haleem Adil Sheikh who is Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister. If KESC is taking action against powerful, elite and government officials than common man will take this in a positive way and will understand that no one is above the law and everyone has to pay their bill at time. One thing is sure that KESC will end loadshedding in the city but it will not reduce the tariff. For this the government has to provide subsidy or will have to take control over KESC.
