KARACHI - On the auspicious occasion of the 40th National Day of Bahrain and 12th ruling year of King Hamad Bin lsa Al Khalifa an event was held here. It is to be noted that Pakistan and Bahrain hold extremely brotherly and cordial relations which not only strengthen the bond between two countries but also bring them closer to each other, says a press release. Bahrain is famous for its rich culture and heritage. It is a home to large structure and is well known for oil and pearls. The trade between the two countries has reached to almost $500 million. Pakistan has contributed in many ways for the development of Bahrain as there are over 60,000 Pakistanis working and living and are respected as a party sharing to develop the country. Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad during his visit to Pakistan in 2005 termed Pakistan as his second home. President Asif Ali Zardari during his visit to Bahrain in August 2011 reiterated his offer to Bahraini business community to benefit from incentive-based business investment packages and rich human resources available in Pakistan. He assured them that his government would provide all possible facilitation to them in their business ventures as there were a large number of sectors and investment areas open to the foreign businessmen.
