Islamabad - Some 150 prostitution dens are operating in the federal capital under the patronage of influential people and police, according to a report sent to Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan by intelligence agencies.

Shocked over by the huge number of prostitution dens, the interior minister has given full authority to Islamabad police to do operations against prostitution centres. He directed administration to make a list of people who are backing and supporting prostitute centres and act against them accordingly.

However, police officers have taken time from interior minister to make an effective policy.

According to the report, there are a total of 150 prostitution centres in sector F-6, F-7, F-8, F-10, G-9, G-10 and I-10.

Numeral guesthouses involved in this business are situated in front of police station whereas one of the guesthouses situated in F-10 is owned by a sub-inspector. In addition, SHOs are involved in the ongoing business in different guesthouses and are taking bribe on monthly basis from owners.

 Meanwhile, the CDA has decided to initiate development work in sectors I-12 and I-15.  Sources said decision had been taken by CDA for starting development work in sectors I-12, I-15 and E-12 along with Diplomatic Enclave.

The work on this project will be started in February 2015. The CDA management has also decided to auction commercial plots in these two sectors. The CDA is likely to earn Rs 50 billion.
