British PM shocked over Peshawar school attack

LONDON- British Prime Minister David Cameron is “deeply shocked” over the terrorist attack at military-run school in Peshawar today, leaving at least 84 students dead.

“The news from Pakistan is deeply shocking. It's horrifying that children are being killed simply for going to school,” the British PM said in a message posted on twitter. Earlier, gunmen stormed the school in a heavily-guarded area of Peshawar, killing at least 84 people, mostly pupils, and injuring 80 others, the chief minister of the province said.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), most of the children and staff have been rescued. It further stated that the exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists is still continuing.
