The District Bar Association hosted a farewell party in honour of District and Sessions Judge Syed Hamid Ali Shah who is going to retire.

Multan DSJ Bahadar Ali Baloch, Jhang DSJ Faiz Muhammad, DG Khan DSJ Sajjad Ahmad Sindhar, Muzaffargarh DSJ Shaukat Iqbal, Bahawalpur DSJ Rai Masood Akhtar, Senior Multan Civil Judge Muhammad Asif Ch, Multan Central Jail Superintendent Saeed Ahmad Gondal, DBA President Rai Yousaf Kharal, DHQ Hospital MS Dr Zahid, DO Rescue 1122 Dr Ejaz Anjum, judges of the district , DO Accounts Mehar Riaz Hiraj, Acting DCO Asfaq Ch, Senior Civil Judge Hassan Ahmad and DPO Rana Ayaz Saleem attended the function.

Addressing the participants, the DSJ said that judiciary should become a strong institution enjoying people’s trust and where people interests were safeguarded.

He said that judiciary was the main organ of justice dispensation system and without the coordination of judiciary, the police would not be able to provide justice to the masses. He termed judiciary as a master key of the justice dispensation.

Earlier, addressing the gathering DSJ Multan Bahadar Ali Baloch and other judges appreciated the services and devotion of Syed Hamid Ali Shah during his entire service.

On the occasion, Multan DSJ Bahadar Ali Baloch presented a commendation shield to DSJ Syed Hamid Ali Shah. Gifts were also presented to the retiring judge.
