ISLAMABAD - Federal Information Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Monday said that Imran Khan was walking on dead bodies of Pakistanis and four lives were lost in Lahore due to Imran’s politics of agitation and forced blockade of roads.

Addressing a press conference here, the minister said the government facilitated PTI and did not create any hurdles but Imran Khan violated the commitment like Red Zone in Islamabad.

He also expressed condolences with the bereaved families and said PTI workers did not allow patients to reach hospitals and tried to forcibly shut down shops and businesses.

Rashid said that PTI workers did not give way to ambulances. As a result, four people died on way to hospitals. He said that PTI’s tigers were like wolves for people of Lahore.

Criticizing behaviour of PTI leaders and workers, he said that Imran Khan’s tigers were wolves for common Pakistanis and especially for women.

Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan was training Pakistani youth as wolves and they have no respect for any one, they made their own supporter women and female journalist cry.

Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan was looking so much power hungry and he can do anything for getting it. He said PTI workers were dying in Multan but he did not notice the incident and continued his speech, he also mentioned the death of a PTI worker while burning tyres in Faisalabad.

“Imran Khan has representatives of Pakistan’s richest class around him, his allies are running their business in this country and paying their taxes while Imran Khan asks poor public of Pakistan to not pay electricity bills and shut their business down on his call”, he added.

He asked whether Jahangir Khan Tareen has shut down his sugar mill due to the PTI’s protest. The information minister said that it was a contest between PTI and people of Lahore on Monday.

Pervaiz Rashid said that the doors for dialogue were open and the government has not set any pre-conditions for talks but PTI spread violence in Lahore on Monday which has shown its non-seriousness to resolve the issue shown. While answering a question about judicial commission, he said that we wrote the letter to Judicial Commission on 13th August and there was no need of protest by Imran Khan after that, Imran is himself a hurdle for Judicial Commission.

He said what Imran Khan did to people of Lahore has deprived him of whatever vote bank he had there.
