MUZAFFARGARH: Various religious parties have condemned the Faisalabad killing, and asked the PML-N and PTI to avoid violence in politics. They agreed on eight-point agenda of launching joint struggle against vulgarity, nudity, obscenity, western culture and sectarianism.

They vowed to launch a drive against anti-Islam forces, protect the Islamic identification of Pakistan, protection of national sovereignty and implementation on the recommendation of Islamic Ideology Council.  The clerics also agreed upon forming an alliance. It was declared on the occasion that the alliance would hold an Ulema convention on Jan 1 next year. A General Council meeting and a public meeting would also be held in Karachi. They deplored the blocking of account of Hafiz Saeed Ahmed at Twitter and described it a curb on freedom of expression.
