ISLAMABAD: Following the directive of the Supreme Court, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday issued a notification disqualifying PTI leader Jahangir Tareen as a member of the National Assembly.

“The Election Commission of Pakistan hereby denotify Jahangir Tareen as Member National Assembly on Pakistan from Constituency No NA-154 Lahore with immediate effect,” reads the ECP notification.–INP
