Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said only parliament has been entitled to amend the constitution as a supreme state institution. While speaking in National Assembly on the issue of judges appointment on Tuesday Gilani reiterated the government doesnt want collision with judiciary. We believe in consultation and respect decisions of judiciary, he said. Referring restoration of the judges, the prime minister said that all experts were opined that the judges should be restored through a parliament resolution. We had intention of restoration of the judges so as they were reinstated through an executive order, however it needs endorsement from the parliament.
