LAHORE (PR) – Punjab Chief Minister and Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Trust Patron-in-Chief Shahbaz Sharif and Trust Chairman Khalid Mehmood and other members expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the sad demise of renowned poet, writer and Trust Publication Editor Azhar Javed on Wednesday. He was 74.
They prayed that the Almighty Allah may rest his soul in eternal peace and give the courage to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude. Azhar Javed wrote many famous books including ‘Gham Ishq Gar Na Hota’, ‘Bari Dair Hoi’ and others. He was also awarded with lifetime achievement award. The Rasm-e-Qul of the deceased will be held today (Thursday) at Stre.
