LAHORE - Ambassador of Czech Republic H.E Mr Miroslav Krenek called on Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa at Governor’s House on Wednesday and discussed matters of mutual interest.
Speaking on this occasion, the governor said Pakistan enjoyed friendly relations with Czech Republic and wanted to further strengthen these ties on the basis of beneficial mutual cooperation in the economic field. He asserted that Pakistan believed in Trade and not in aid.
Khosa viewed that existing volume of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Czech Republic was not reflective of the true potential of the two countries, and it was imperative that expansion of the existing trade and economic relations between the two countries should be given priority.
He further said Pakistan offered lucrative opportunities for joint ventures and international investment. He assured that Pakistan would welcome and facilitate Czech investments here, particularly joint ventures in the energy, IT, automotive and precision engineering sectors where Czech Republic possesses skilled people and state of the art technology.
