ACE arrests ‘fraudulent’



SARGODHA - The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) have arrested a University of Sargodha (UoS) official on the charges of huge embezzlement of students fees money.
The ACE team led by Circle Officer Ikram Ullah Khan, ASI Mehr Hamid and other officials conducted a raid on the house of Imran Jilal situated in Kot Lakpat Lahore and arrested the culprit who had been declared proclaimed offender (PO).
A case had been filed by the UoS administration on 1st January 2012 against Imran Jilal, Departmental Assistant of the UoS.
Later the accused fled away and had gone underground.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Anti Corruption Director General directed to probe against the recruitment of tube well operator on alleged fake matriculation certificate.
Muhammad Ejaz had submitted an application to the DG anti-corruption that Muhammad Javeed got job on fake academic documents and he had been working for 20 years.
