Nigerian envoy for boosting ties with Pakistan





ISLAMABAD (PR) - Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan Dauda Danladi Mni has said that vast scope of cooperation exists between the two countries in many areas particularly agriculture sector. Nigerian Ambassador said Nigeria is keen to benefit from the experience and achievements made by Pakistan in different fields such as agricultural machinery like tractors, pharmaceuticals and export of garments including military training and defense technologies.Nigerian Ambassador Dauda Danladi Mni further added that the Government of Nigeria under the leadership of Nigerian President, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, has taken revolutionary steps to boost trade between Pakistan and Nigeria.He said today Government of Nigeria offers 75pc import duty rebate with no withholding taxes to foreign investors besides 100pc repatriation of capital and profit. He stressed that Nigerian HC has chalked out a comprehensive strategy to explore new avenues of cooperation in the areas of trade and economy, agriculture and defense as a part of preparation for the forthcoming Single Pak Trade Fair in Nigeria.
