ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that record development work has been made in communication sector during the last five years, which has increased connectivity and promoted linkages among various regions of the country.The prime minister expressed these views while talking to Dr Arbab Aalimgir, Minister for Communication, who called on him at PM House Friday evening. Dr Arbab apprised the prime minister about status of the ongoing projects undertaken by National Highway Authority (NHA) throughout the country.The prime minister directed the Federal Minister to expedite the pace of work for timely completion of all development projects without compromising on their quality.The prime minister said that the coalition government attaches highest priority to the developmental activity for the welfare and prosperity of the people.The prime minister directed the Federal Minister to intensify his contacts with the masses in preparation for the upcoming elections in the country. “The Peoples Party will again be victorious in the elections on the basis of its performance during the last five years”, added the prime minister.
