RAWALPINDI - The high-ups of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi Saturday filed their reply with the court of civil judge in response to petition of PTI former candidate from NA-71, Mianwali, Ayla Malik declaring her intermediate degree fake.
BISE Rawalpindi submitted its reply with the court of Civil Judge Kashif Qayyum, who has been hearing the petition of Ayla Malik. The civil judge issued notices to both parties and ordered them to personally face the court on March 29, 2014.
PTI leader Ayla Malik approached the court through her lawyer Dr Babar Awan and Farooq Awan against BISE Rawalpindi Chairman and Controller Examination for declaring her FA degree fake.
The court had accepted the plea and ordered BISE chairman and Controller Examination to submit reply.
BISE Rawalpindi high-ups in their reply stated that no record of her intermediate certificate was found and the role number Ayla’s certificate carried was actually of a male candidate named Imdad Hussain, who appeared as a private candidate in Jhelum. Therefore, BISE could not declare FA degree of Ayla Malik as original.
They also said that board did not have any record to prove that Ayla Malik’s degree was right.
Ayla was the PTI candidate for NA-71 (Mianwali) in by-election but she had been disqualified from contesting election for holding fake degree in July last year.
The PTI leader in her petition contented that she passed the intermediate examination on December 16, 1989 from BISE Rawalpindi and her registration and certificate numbers are 898015617 and 21751-3091 respectively, but the board declared her degree fake over alleged political pressure of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government.
Ayla further contended that the Controller Examination should be summoned into the court along with the record and her degree should be declared authentic.
Ayla’s certificate had been challenged by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s leader Obaidullah Shadikhel.
