KARACHI- According to ISPR, a 17-year-old boy was permitted to become a soldier in the Pakistan Army for a single day by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.

Shoaib Aurangzeb is currently suffering from Thalassemia. Shoaib was made a soldier for a day after he expressed his desire through a letter to General Raheel Sharif.

General Raheel met Shoaib and inquired about his health. He appreciated his spirits and love for the country. Shoaib also visited an army unit in Malir and spent his day with the troops.
