LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Sunday took notice of injury to a 30-year-old person due to kite string in Walton Lahore and sought a report from police authorities. He directed that strict implementation of the ban on kite flying in Lahore as well as other areas of the province should be ensured and indiscriminate action be taken against the violators.

He said that kite flying would not be tolerated and police and administration should perform its responsibilities efficiently in this regard and action should also be taken against the elements involved in this business.  The chief minister directed that best treatment facilities should be provided to the injured.
