LAHORE - Quran Khawani, followed by special prayers for the departed soul of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif’s mother who passed away couple of days ago, was held here on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the All Pakistan Transporters Owners Federation chairman Azam Niazi, Pakistan Cloth Market president Humanyun Iqbal Mir, Pakistan Small Traders president Babar Butt, Anjuman-e-Araiyan Pakistan president Mian Saeed Derewala have expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the mother of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif.  
The leaders, in a message here Sunday, expressed condolences to Gen Raheel and other members of the bereaved family. They prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
