KARACHI - A man was stabbed to death over domestic issue in the limits of Ittehad Town police on Thursday.

Police said that accused Arif had a dispute with his wife’s cousins Pervaiz and Shazaib over some domestic issues. Arif declined to allow Pervaiz visiting his home but Pervaiz reached his home to meet Arif’s wife. As Arif came to know about Pervaiz’s visit, he rushed to Prevaiz’s home located in Ghaziabad where Arif stabbed Pervaiz to death and wounded his brother Shazaib. The victims were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced the death of Pervaiz while admitted Shazaib with critical wounds. The accused Arif managed to flee while police registered the case against the accused person.


Police claimed to have arrested over a dozen suspects in various raids and operations carried out in different parts of the city. 

Shairshah police claimed to have arrested three street criminals while recovered weapons and looted valuables from their possession. Police said that the accsued persons were involved in various cases of street crimes and unlocked the shops for robberies in the localities.

Police recovered weapons, snatched motorbikes and other valuables from their possession. Baghdadi police arrested Waqar and Babar while recovered weapons from their possession. Police said that the accused persons were involved in number street crime cases while further investigation is underway.  Freer police arrest an accused Siraj while recovered weapons from his possession. Police said that the accused person was involved in robberies and other anti social activities.

Kalri police arrested six accused persons in a raid conducted at Gutka factory.  The accused persons arrested were including Saeed, Ghulam Yaseen, Azam, Ali, Ghulam Mujtaba and Amir Siraj while recovered huge quantity of Gutka. Similarly, Shah Latif police arrested an accused person Hanif while recovered huge quantity of Gutka from his possession.

Missing man found dead

SITE Superhighway police found a body of a missing person abducted from his residence in Ashraf Colony, Sohrab Goth.

Police said that the unknown gunmen barged into Musa Khan’s house on Tuesday and took him to unknown place. Family of the victim informed police about the tragedy while police found his tortured body from Superhighway. The body was shifted to morgue where deceased was identified.

Police suspect personal enmity was the motive behind the incident while registered the case against unknown culprits. Police said that deceased Musa used to involve in various illegal activities particularly running narcotics den in the locality and also imprisoned many times of drug paddling.

On the other side, family of the deceased Musa staged protest against the police and blocked the main superhighway for couple of hours while chanting slogans against the police. Family claimed that deceased Musa used to work as cloths trader and plain clothes personnel of police were behind the tragedy. Police managed to clean the road after negotiations with the protesters.
