Baghdadi crash out

LAHORE - Baghdadi outclassed Winder 3-0 in Group B of PFF-KESC Lyari Football League at Kalakot's Shaheed Abdul Rehman Park, Lyari Town, Karachi. After completion of four matches in Group-B, Baghdadi earned six points to enter quarter-finals. Singolane made four, while Kalri one and Winder zero Baghdadi led 2-0 at breather with striker Majid Khan opening score in the 11th minute while winger Zeeshan Ali scoring other in the final seconds of first session. The second half saw man of the match midfielder Kamran Hussain rounded off the tally in the 46th minute. The match was supervised by Shahid Ismail under Match Commissioner Yaqoob Baloch. The assistants were M Jalal, Farid Ahmed and Yasin. Earlier, in Group-A, Hub's striker Nisar Ahmed struck hat-trick in 6-0 win over Nayabad. Nisar recorded his goals in the fourth, 31st, 38th minute while winger Inayat Ullah fired twice in the 56th and 70th minute. Other scorer was Liaquat Ali in the 8th minute. It was sixth hat-trick of the event. Today's fixtures: Khada v Bela at 12:30 pm, Rangiwara v Hub at 2:30 pm and Kalri v Winder at 4 pm. All matches at Abdul Rehman Park.
