LAHORE - Despite the nexus between Hindu terrorists and Indian military officers involved in bomb attacks in their own country has been exposed, the champions of human rights and justice are still silent. The confession by Naba Kumar alias Swami Aseemanand is the first legal evidence of RSS activists involvement in the Samjhota Express and Malegaon blast. The evidence of RSS involvement in the Makkah Masjid and Ajmer blasts has been growing with every new arrest, pieced together by the CBI shows that the broad terror conspiracy to target Muslims and their religious places was hatched around 2001. Three RSS activists from Madhya Pradesh - Sunil Joshi, Ramchandra Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange - were the core of this conspiracy as the three became more audacious in their terror ambitions they started inducting like-minded Hindutva radicals from other states, mainly Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan while the new entrants were mostly from RSS, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The revelations include that RSS members, political bigwigs, retired and serving Army officers had set up 'Abhinav Bharat to infiltrate and subvert every institution in that country. Abhinav Bharat has a long history of terrorism. The extremist Abhinav Bharat was born before independence. Led by Vinayak Savarkar, initially it called for an 'armed struggle against the British occupation of India. It performed several terrorist acts. It had an explicit ideology of Hindu nationalism, exemplified by the 'Hindu Mahasabha. This organisation undertook a super active and violent programme after the joining of Lieutenant Colonel Purohit as its main protagonist since 2006. Lt Col Purohit, during his stint in Jammu and Kashmir, collected a stock of explosives, particularly RDX, and probably hid it in Pune, his hometown. He appeared to have struck an understanding with some other extremist organisations like Bajrang Dal, VHP and Jagran Munch. The training to use explosives was provided by Major (retired) Ramesh Upadhyay. The hate speeches are generally carried out by many members including Sameer Kulkarni. A religious cover to the terrorists is provided by the Swamis, and the political cover by Sangh Parivar parties like the RSS, Shiv Sena and BJP. The technical and logistic guidance is available from the Intelligence Bureau (IB). The large media network of Sangh Parivar is used to propagate that every terror work is sourced from Pakistan. According to the tapes recovered from RSS accused, of the eight Army officers named in the tapes at least four have intelligence background. Apart from Lt Col Prasad Purohit, two are serving brigadiers, there Colonels and three majors, only one colonel is under investigation of these. The RSS has a divisive agenda and the backing of foreign forces like Israel, importantly; the charge-sheet prepared by Mumbai Anti Terrorist Squad against Saadhvi Praggya, Raj Kumar Purohit and others in the Malegaon blasts specifically mentions that Hindutva terrorists had been to Israel. The charge-sheet also mentions that Hindutva terrorist had been assured that Israel would back any project declaring India a Hindu Rashtra. The Colonel Prasad Purohit says, We are on the same plane Hindu Rashtra. Significantly, Purohit mention that 'one of our own Captain; had visited Israel for training and meeting, and demanded four things from Israel, that included continues and interrupted supply of arms and training, an 'office with a saffron flag in Tel Aviv, political asylum and support for our cause of a Hindu nation in the UN. The Israelis, he adds gave 'a very positive response and promised arms and asylum. In 2007, Indian agencies had accused Harkat-ul-Jehad-i-Islami activist alias Bilal of being involved in Samjhota blasts when two coaches were completely gutted. India often names Muslim organisations, which in fact do not exist. Anyhow, on the demand of Human Right Watch the Indian govt acknowledged that Hindu extremists were behind the terrorist activities. For years, there has been a perception among Indians that there is a Muslim behind every terror attack; also this bias was shared by the police and intelligence agencies which routinely round up Muslim boys and declare them to be terror masterminds. But the fact is that India has had a strong and substantial homegrown terrorism for a long time and its intention has been to intimidate the minorities, in particular the Muslims and Christians. It also has a dream to dominate the world, the Hindutva terrorists want to enforce their brand of Brahmanism on everyone else.
