ISLAMABAD - US Embassy here on Saturday rejected media reports that Nato forces were involved in a cross-border shelling incident on January 13, 2011 that killed eight Pakistani civilians. "This is false," the US Embassy officials said and confirmed with Nato commanders that Nato forces were not involved in any attack on January 13 in Pakistani territory. All Nato operations in Afghanistan conducted along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border region are closely coordinated with the Government of Pakistan, they added.
