14 bio-gas plants to be established

HAFIZABAD - With a view to minimise energy crisis, fourteen bio-gas plants will be established in the district under the Punjab Government Energy Programme (PEP), DCO Muhammad Asif said here.
He said that the District Administration has received 238 applications and ballot would be held on January 19 in the DDO Agriculture office. According to the programme, one plant would cost Rs100,000 and the Punjab government would provide Rs50,000 as subsidy.
Rs200m project
inaugurated: PML-Q MNA Chaudhry Liaqat Abbas Bhatti has assured that he would provide every amenity to the villagers in his constituency NA-103.
Inaugurating sui gas supply in Thatha Gahra village, about 15 kilometres from here, he said the project had cost Rs200 million.
He said he had got approval for provision of gas to 100 villages in his constituency. He said that MNA and MPAs of PML-N had miserably failed in resolving the problems of masses.
