ISLAMABAD  - The Judicial Commission appointed by the Supreme Court to investigate the memogate scandal will hold an important meeting on Monday (today).
The meeting of the three-member Commission headed by the Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Faiz Essa will meet at the IHC building.  Lt-Gen (r) Javed Ashraf Qazi and Brig (r) Imtiaz Hussain will appear before the commission as witnesses regarding the professional and personal life of former Pakistan Ambassador to US Husain Haqqani.
Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz could fly into a military airbase in Rawalpindi and granted a visa on arrival so that he can testify on Monday (today) before the Judicial Commission. Ijaz's lawyer has said he will testify before the Supreme Court appointed commission that is investigating the memo scandal.  Interior Minister Rehman Malik denied these reports saying Ijaz has not been issued visa.  However, the sources said that the Memo Commission meeting could be deferred without any proceedings owing to the appearance of Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq before the Supreme Court in the NRO implementation case the same day.
