Rescue 1122 offices beefed up

BAHAWALPUR - District Emergency Officer Malik Asif Rahim Channar has said that precautionary measures were being taken for the safety of the offices of the Emergency Service, Rescue-1122 and its staff from any threat of terrorism as it has been directed by the Punjab Home Department.
He said that funds had been sanctioned for the safety and security measures and the necessary work would be started next month. He said that CCTVs would be installed at the offices of the Rescue 1122 and the height of the boundary walls would be raised and all protective measures would be adopted for this purpose.
“This is not in response to any particular threat, but is a prudent and precautionary measure,” he added.
