LAHORE – Crimes Investigation Agency or CIA police of Sadar division on Tuesday claimed to have resolved a blind murder mystery by arresting a man on the charges of killing a maid in the Johar Town police area.
The alleged killer, identified as Bilal, told the police investigators that he had stabbed Noreen Bibi to death after she resisted rape attempt and made hue and cry in the house some four months ago.
The killer, also a servant in the adjacent house, further confessed that on the day of incident, he had forced his entry into the room of Noreen and attempted sexual assault.
Noreen raised alarm, upon which the killer stabbed her repeatedly with a knife, according to the police. Further investigations are underway.
