Rawalpindi eyeing win in Quaid Trophy




ISLAMABAD - Rawalpindi required 61 runs for victory with 5 wickets in hand against Faisalabad on the last day of the fourth round Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2012-13 Group-II match at Mirpur Stadium, AJK on Tuesday.
Rawalpindi finished the third day at 164/5 with Umar Waheed unbeaten on 69 at the crease. Adnan Mufti (63) also batted well. Waqas Maqsood took all the 5/62.
Earlier, Faisalabad were bowled out for 130 as they resumed their second innings at the overnight total of 88/8.  M Salaman made 42. Sadaf Hussain took 4/17, while Naisr Malik got 3/55 and Haseeb grabbed 2/41.
