GGPS to be upgraded to elementary level

WARBURTON: The Govt Girls Primary School Walgan Sohail (Warburton) will be upgraded to elementary level just after the completion the processes of local governments, said EDO Education Iftikhar Hassan Butt.
He disclosed while addressing the parent day ceremony here the other day.
The GGPS Walgan School organised the ceremony in which Federal Board of Revenue Islamabad Deputy Director Sumera Nosher Mann was chief guest.
She distributed uniforms to the students.
On the occasion, she strongly recommended and appealed to the EDO Education to upgrade the school to elementary level as early as possible. Recently elected UC Chairman Ulfat Hussain Mann provided sweaters to school students. –Staff Reporter

Earlier, School Principal Tasneem Kousar revealed the steps of development in school like establishment of kids’ room, early child education centre, computer lab and literacy and Numeracy Drive centre.
She lauded the financial contribution for school development especially Nosher Mann, Ulfat Mann, Samiullah Mann, Saleem Akhtar and Muhammad Nasim. DEO Education (Women) Shamim Sohara, DDEO Education (Women) Humaira Bhatti DTSC Head Wasim Ahmad Khan, CTSC Head Javed Ashraf Shooka and teacher educators Tariq Mehmood and Sajid Ali attended the ceremony.
