Corruption cases: NAB court resumes hearing against Sharif family

The Accountability Court resumed the corruption cases hearing against Sharif family today. 

Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar reached the court. This is 13th appearance of Nawaz before the court. 

Judge Muhammad Bashir is hearing the case as the statement of two prosecution witnesses were recorded during today's hearing. 

In his statement NAB official Nasir Janjua told the court that he was part of investigation of Flagship reference. "The investigation was conducted by our team, he said. 

Furthermore, second witness Umar Daraz recorded his statement and was cross-questioned by Nawaz's lawyer Khawaja Haris. 

He told the court that he took notices to Sharifs' residence twice. "I handed over the notices to guard Arif and took his signatures on delivery documents," he said.
