LAHORE - The All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran is going to file a petition in the Lahore High Court on Tuesday (today), seeking orders for the Punjab government to stop Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri from staging an anti-government rally on The Mall. The traders will make the Punjab chief secretary, capital city police officer, district coordination officer, Lahore commissioner and city traffic officer parties to the case. Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Monday, APAT General Secretary Naeem Mir appealed to Pemra and media organisations not to cover Dr Qadri’s rally because it was being staged in violation of court orders.
